AI engines

Choose which AI engines are asked your prompts.

AI engines overview

Every scan asks your prompts to the engines that are active for the brand. Turning one off means it is skipped on every scan, including manual refreshes — so its column stops filling in.

The setting lives on the AI visibility screen, under the AI engines tab, and it’s per brand.

Currently available: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Claude. Grok, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot are listed as coming soon.

How to change which engines run

Toggle an engine on or off in the grid. Active ones are marked Active, the rest Off.

How many you can run at once depends on your plan, and the counter shows your position against the cap. On the lowest plan the selection is fixed rather than chosen.

New brands start with the first engines of your plan’s pool already on, so a scan works before you touch anything.

Good to know Turning an engine off doesn’t delete its history. Past scans keep their data and old charts stay readable; the engine stops being asked from the next scan onwards.

How to decide which to run

Run the engines your buyers actually use, not all of them for completeness. Every active engine multiplies the work of a scan — more engines against the same prompts means the same quota goes less far.

If you have to choose, the useful signal is on the Overview: Platform breakdown shows where you are and aren’t being mentioned. An engine where you’re invisible is worth keeping on precisely because that’s where the gap is.
