Prompts and topics

Choose the questions you’re measured on, and group them so the results mean something.

Prompts overview

A prompt is a question a customer might type into an AI assistant. Your whole measurement rests on them: if the prompts aren’t the questions your buyers actually ask, every number in the app is answering the wrong question accurately.

Topics group related prompts so you can read a cluster rather than a list. A prompt doesn’t have to have one — prompts without a topic are uncategorized.

Your plan caps how many prompts and topics each brand can have; the counter above the table shows where you are.

How to add a prompt

  1. Click Add prompt.
  2. Write the question the way a customer would ask it, not the way you’d describe your product.
  3. Optionally pick a category.

Adding a prompt doesn’t start a scan. It’ll be included in the next scheduled one, or you can refresh it yourself.

Edit on a row changes the text — same rule, no scan is triggered by saving.

How to generate prompts

Generate prompts writes a batch for you from your market map, grouped by topic. Each generated prompt carries an Auto badge.

After a batch lands you get a review bar: keep them, or Undo the whole batch.

Three things stop generation, and the app says which: a daily limit of three generations, your plan’s prompt cap, or a generation already running for this brand.

When every cluster of your market is already covered, generation says so instead of inventing filler. If nothing fresh is found, the app can research new demand for your market in the background — a few minutes — after which generating again has something to work with.

Good to know A prompt that names your brand or a competitor’s gets a Brand badge and is excluded from the visibility metrics. Asking an engine “what is {your brand}” nearly guarantees a mention, so counting those would flatter your numbers. They’re still scanned and still readable on their own.

How to organise prompts into topics

Add topic creates one, with a name, an optional description and a colour. Names have to be unique within a brand.

To move prompts, select them in the table and use Assign topic in the bar that appears — you can pick an existing topic or create a new one from there.

The topic menu also offers Rename, Change color, Edit description and Delete topic.

Good to know Deleting a topic doesn’t delete its prompts. They become uncategorized and can be moved into another topic.

How to archive or delete prompts

Archive takes a prompt out of scanning while keeping its history — it moves to the Archived tab and can be restored. Archived prompts don’t count against your active limit.

Delete removes the prompt and its scan history — mentions, engine runs, sources. That can’t be undone. Archive unless you’re certain.

Both work in bulk: select rows, then use Archive selected or Delete selected.

How to review suggested prompts

The Suggested tab holds prompts the app proposes from observed demand rather than generating in bulk. Accept the ones that match how your buyers ask; ignore the rest.

Leaving them unreviewed for a while raises a Context recommendation — see Context.
